As the school year comes to an end and as Christmas looms closer, it is time to start to think about ways to thank the teachers that give so much of themselves to nurture and enrich our kids each day in the classroom and on the playground.
Fundraising for school has often been tainted with pies and chocolates. There is a strong movement to introduce eco-friendly and sustainable fundraising ideas for schools avoiding the pressure it either eat the entire box of chocolate ourselves or end up with a freezer full of pies. A truly sustainable fundraiser is one that promotes products that are not only kind to the planet but kind to family’s wallets! With the ‘cost of living’ increasing, it’s nice to not have to hand over money for products you don’t really need.
