When my eldest started school, just before the longest lockdown, I found myself overwhelmed with the change in schedules, confused with the conflicting information available and truthfully, lonely without the support system that we had invested during his early years. We were at a new school with new expectations for him and myself. At school and at home.  

This led me to create Australian School Mums, an online community facebook group of mums just like me who wanted support and needed a laugh through uncharted waters. 

With no idea what to expect, I couldn’t believe it when after just a few short months, thousands of Mothers joined in from across Australia.
